About the Blog
This blog originally started in mid-2003 as personal and political rants, but has since evolved into something quite a bit different. I’m not much concerned with blogging daily about current issues and events occurring around the world. There are many other blogs out there which focus on daily events and I, personally, would never have the time in my life to keep up with the pressures of full-time blogging. Rather, my writings focus more on thorough inquiries of issues from a progressive perspective. If you’re interested in reading more in-depth examinations of world events and national issues, then you’ve come to the right place. Due to the time necessary to appropriately research topics and write articles than can be many thousands of words, the duration between postings is more a matter of weeks than of hours. I apologize to those of you who wish to read more, but paying my mortgage is a higher priority than writing (since I don’t get paid to write). If you have any suggestions for topics, feel free to let me know.
